Airbnb is seeking MBA students to join the Finance organization as Strategic Finance & Analytics Interns for our 2027 Summer Intern Program from May 24, 2027 - August 13, 2027 .

Our Strategic Finance & Analytics (SFA) team sits at the intersection of finance, strategy, and the business, partnering directly with leaders to decide where Airbnb invests, how we grow, and what we do next. We expect every member of the team to bring a CFO mindset to budget management, producing actionable insights, owning our performance story, and supporting day-to-day execution.
Key Responsibilities & Day-to-Day Scope
- ✓ Analyze complex business problems and issues using data to provide insight to decision-makers
- ✓ Identify and interpret trends and patterns based on business data and market knowledge
- ✓ Construct and present forecasts, recommendations, and strategic/tactical plans to stakeholders and leaders
- ✓ Create specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements.
- ✓ Team up with colleagues from a wide variety of backgrounds and perspectives.
- ✓ Communicate with stakeholders, providing regular updates and insights.
- ✓ Seek and offer feedback in a supportive, growth-oriented environment.
- ✓ Participate in team meetings, learning sessions, and community events.

- ✓ 3–5 years of professional experience in areas such as financial planning & analysis, corporate development, management consulting, private equity, investment banking, or business operations
- ✓ Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to define and execute projects independently
- ✓ Strong relationship-building skills with various internal and external stakeholders
Official Qualifications & Technical Requirements
- • Clear, persuasive written and verbal communication, including presenting to senior leaders (e.g., the Chief Financial Officer or a VP of Finance)
- • Robust quantitative skills and experience analyzing complex data to deliver actionable recommendations
- • Experience with SQL, financial modeling, data analysis and visualization (Tableau or similar tools)
- • AI fluency and sound AI judgment: you know how to apply AI effectively to the work and projects in front of you, and when not to
- • Ability to manage your time and adapt to changing priorities
- • Interest in high-growth, technology, or hospitality companies
- • Authorization to work in the United States
- • Experience conducting industry research and due diligence

Preferred Skills & Technology Stack
