Data & AI Virtual Work Experience Programme (Career Development)

1. Programme Nature
- This programme is a training and virtual work experience programme designed to provide project experience, mentorship, and career development support.
- It is not an internship, job, employment contract, or work placement.
- No employer–employee relationship is created at any stage.
2. No Stipend or Wages
- As this is a training programme, no stipend, wages, salary, or employment benefits are provided.
- Participants are not entitled to minimum wage or employment rights.
3. Programme Activities
- Participants will complete simulated or company‑sourced projects, guided tasks, assessments, and portfolio work.
- All project work is for learning and skill‑development purposes only.
- Any project output is educational and does not constitute productive work for CadetX or any partner organisation.
4. Career Development Support
- Participants may receive support such as CV optimisation, LinkedIn optimisation, mock interviews, GitHub setup, and job‑application guidance.
- This support is advisory only and does not guarantee job placement, interviews, or employment outcomes.
5. No Job Guarantee
CadetX does not guarantee:
- Job placement
- Interviews
- Employment offers
- Work placements
- Paid internships
Career outcomes depend on the participant's skills, performance, and external job market conditions.
6. Certificates & Reference Letter
- Participants will receive a Virtual Work Experience Certificate and a Reference Letter from CadetX upon successful completion of all required modules, tasks, and projects.
- These documents reflect project experience and participation in a virtual work experience programme, not employment or work placement.
7. Participant Responsibilities
Participants agree to:
- Submit accurate personal information
- Complete assigned tasks and projects
- Maintain professional behaviour during sessions
- Follow all programme guidelines, deadlines, and instructions
- Not misuse CadetX materials or misrepresent the programme as employment
8. Refund Policy
- Fees are non‑refundable once the participant has been granted access to programme materials, unless required by local consumer laws.
- Refunds are not provided for non‑completion, lack of participation, or failure to meet programme requirements.
9. Use of Work
- Participants may use their completed projects in their personal portfolio.
- CadetX may use anonymised student work for training, quality improvement, or marketing purposes unless the participant requests otherwise in writing.
10. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting the application and ticking the confirmation box, the participant agrees that:
"I understand that this programme provides project experience, mentorship, and career development support, not a job or work placement."
This confirmation is required to submit the application.
Refund Policy
CadetX Virtual Work Experience Programmes

CadetX aims to provide high‑quality training, virtual work experience, and career development support. This Refund Policy explains the conditions under which refunds may or may not be issued.
1. When Refunds Are Allowed
Refunds may be granted only in the following situations:
1.1 Duplicate Payment
If a participant accidentally pays twice for the same programme, the duplicate payment will be refunded.
1.2 Technical Payment Error
If a payment fails, is incorrectly processed, or is charged due to a system error, a refund may be issued.
1.3 Legal Requirements
If local consumer protection laws require a refund under specific circumstances, CadetX will comply with those laws.
2. When Refunds Are NOT Allowed
Refunds are not provided in the following situations:
2.1 Once Programme Access Is Granted
Refunds are not available once the participant has received any of the following:
- Access to programme materials
- Access to the learning portal
- Access to project tasks
- Access to mentorship or support sessions
- Access to the community or communication channels
Receiving any of the above counts as programme access.
2.2 Non‑Completion or Lack of Participation
Refunds are not provided if the participant:
- Does not attend sessions
- Does not complete tasks
- Does not submit projects
- Loses interest
- Fails to complete the programme
2.3 Change of Mind
Refunds are not issued for:
- Change of mind
- Change in schedule
- Personal reasons
- Deciding the programme is not needed
2.4 Failure to Meet Programme Requirements
Refunds are not issued if the participant does not meet the requirements for:
- Certificate
- Reference letter
- Career support
3. What Counts as "Programme Access"
A participant is considered to have accessed the programme when any of the following occur:
- Login details are sent
- First module or project is unlocked
- First session invitation is sent
- First piece of content is delivered
- First mentorship or support message is provided
Once any of these actions occur, the programme is considered delivered, and refunds are no longer available.
4. How Refund Requests Are Handled
4.1 Request Process
To request a refund, participants must email:

Include:
- Full name
- Email used for registration
- Payment receipt
- Reason for refund request
4.2 Review Timeline
Refund requests are reviewed within 7–10 business days.
4.3 Outcome Notification
Participants will receive a written response confirming:
- Approval (if applicable)
- Rejection (with explanation)
4.4 Refund Method
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method only.
5. Programme Changes or Cancellations
- If CadetX cancels a programme before it begins, participants will receive a full refund.
- If CadetX reschedules or modifies the programme, participants will be notified in advance.
6. Acceptance of Refund Policy
By enrolling in the programme, participants acknowledge and agree to this Refund Policy.
