The Internal System Org is at the core of Stripe to empower mission-critical financial domains including Finance & Strategy (F&S), Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Product Experience, GTM. We are the Financial Enablement team, acting as the centralized data analytics team for Internal System Org. Enable and empower F&S, GTM, Accounting, Product teams to achieve business goals, through dataset development, data analytics support, dashboards, AI, and operation efficiency enhancements.
Key Responsibilities & Day-to-Day Scope
- ✓ Perform data analysis, identify trends, conduct research, build visualizations, all to deliver objective, critical insights that fulfill team stakeholders’ business needs
- ✓ Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Finance & Strategy, Accounting, Product, Tax, User billing, Seller System, and Sales Ops teams, to align on financial goals and drive revenue growth
- ✓ Be the data strategy partner for our business stakeholders
- ✓ Reconcile complex dataset across complex finance systems
- ✓ Coordinate cross-functional projects to identify and drive operational efficiencies that support our stakeholders ability to run more efficiently and effectively
- ✓ Work closely with Engineering and Product teams to help define product solutions
- ✓ Leverage AI tools to improve team work efficiency
- ✓ Conduct internal knowledge sharing sessions to strengthen team
- ✓ Bachelor's degree in STEM major (i.e. Computer Science, Math, Stat, Engineering, etc.) and 4+ years of prior working experience in data analysis fields
- ✓ Strong analytical ability, proficiency with SQL (minimum of 3 years advanced SQL) and strong understanding of data relationships
- ✓ Experience working with extremely large datasets
- ✓ Outstanding communication skills
- ✓ Expertise working cross-functionally to drive business and operational goals
- ✓ Excellent project management skills and ability to hold others accountable for results

- • Domain knowledge in Finance/Accounting/GTM
- • Experience working in fast-paced environments (e.g. high-growth fintech/tech company, management consulting)
- • Experience working with PM, Engineers, GTM, Accounting Team or Finance Team
- • Experience working with financial datasets
- • Experience working in fast-paced environments (e.g. high-growth fintech/tech company, management consulting)
- • Experience with visualization tools
- • Experience with AI tools (Claude Code, Kai, etc.)
- • Domain knowledge in FinTech Products
- • Bachelor's or Master degree in Accounting/Finance major
- • CPA/CFA certification
Preferred Skills & Technology Stack
- + Experience working with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, or Amazon Redshift).
- + Familiarity with Git version control and collaborative code review workflows.
- + Demonstrated portfolio or capstone projects exhibiting practical end-to-end analytics problem solving.
